Greencastle today announced Jim Blanchet and Joe LaRiviere have been promoted to Management Consultant.

A proven leader with 10+ years of experience, Joe excels as a consultant in the Energy and Financial industries. He is also a Captain in the US Army Reserve, where he has served since 2004. As a Project Manager at the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO), he has led several IT projects from initiation to close-out with great success. Joe’s past and present projects include the PECO Distribution Automation Head-End Upgrade to Automation Control project (Smart Grid-Smart Meter Program), PECO Transmission Support Operations Phone Turret System Upgrade project, PECO Real Estate Database Upgrade project and the PECO Gas New Business Fieldbook Enhancements project. He recently earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has been a vital resource in building the PECO IT Program Management Office.
Joe is a decorated Army Captain, making key impacts in a variety of roles in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a BS in Finance from Rutgers University – New Brunswick.
Jim is a dedicated consultant who is quickly becoming a leader in the Telecom and Reverse Logistics industries. His creativity and insight allow him to leverage his military leadership experience and add immediate and sustained value for his clients. Jim joined Greencastle after serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy, deploying twice to the Arabian Gulf.
Jim is active in the community and serves on the Board of Governors for YMCA Camp Tockwogh (YMCA of Delaware). He is also an avid writer and has multiple publications of professional essays, creative nonfiction and fiction pieces. Jim earned both a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Commission as a Naval Officer from Tulane University, and he is certified as an Associate Environmental Professional (AEP) from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals.
