Greencastle has Behaviors that help create and maintain our culture. These behaviors are built from our values, experiences and relationships. These behaviors are woven into every facet of our business. They apply to everyone and make no distinction between job titles.
Be Intentional.
The success of the individual or the team cannot be left to chance. In our military careers we used checklists, routines and procedures to ensure nothing was missed.
We continue to use procedures, templates, and checklists to move fast. We want to reserve the mental computing power for higher level work and rely on the best practices being incorporated into our checklists.
We try to do one thing at a time, with all of our energy. In the pursuit of progress, less is more. By prioritizing and focusing on the important, you will achieve more.
We prepare and practice. We hold prep meetings, rehearsals and planning meetings.
Planning is essential – plans are useless
We understand that plans are guides and should only shape our approach, not limit our options. The time planning is extremely important – it helps find the gaps in a plan. It helps understand the sponsors intent. It helps create a common operating picture that the team can use to move faster and more efficiently.
At Greencastle, we encourage our people to be intentional with their clients, with their careers and their education. Our other behavior, Have a Professional Growth Mindset is tied directly to being intentional in their professional life.
Success is rooted in being intentional.
