Greencastle has Behaviors that help create and maintain our culture. These behaviors are built from our values, experiences and relationships. These behaviors are woven into every facet of our business. They apply to everyone and make no distinction between job titles.
It is an employee’s responsibility to take control of their professional growth. An employer or company can train you everyday, all day. But if you are not able to take that training and actually learn, it is wasted effort.
At Greencastle we push our team to be life long learners. We provide tools and platforms to help them learn and grow. Recently we purchased LinkedIn Learning licenses and the result have been impressive.
Last week we certified 5 new Green Belts and had a myriad of other team members earn certifications.
It is my job to make sure every employee has access to a learning platform and is rewarded for becoming more capable and proficient in their careers. Greencastle is more successful with a highly trained team that has clear expectations for success.
Below is a snap shot of Greencastle’s dashboard in LinkedIn Learning. It is invaluable to the company to have a robust platform that provides excellent content. Additionally, Greencastle can add proprietary content that is specific to the training needs of the company.
