Greencastle CEO, Joe Crandall, has announced the appointment of Troy Beane as Greencastle’s Vice President of Service Delivery and Eric Diamond as Greencastle’s Vice President of Finance, both effective January 1, 2021. As key members of Greencastle’s leadership team, Beane will oversee and lead the service delivery team. He will be responsible for ensuring client success and overall delivery of Greencastle’s service offerings. Diamond is responsible for overall financial performance through planning, organizing and coordinating all aspects of Greencastle’s financial plan.
“I am delighted to promote Troy and Eric in Greencastle,” CEO Crandall said. “This promotion is going to cost them more responsibilities, heavier schedules, more hard work and yet this is what takes them closer to their definition of success. I congratulate both of them for a job well done.”

Beane joined Greencastle in 2010 as an Associate Management Consultant and has successfully led more than 15 critical projects in process improvement and project management initiatives for Fortune 100 clients. He is a highly experienced consultant, strategist, and operations expert and leverages his experience to guide and mentor high performance teams to achieve transformational success. He has helped to guide tremendous growth for our company in revenue, quality of service delivery, hiring and recruiting practices, as well as leadership and professional development.
Prior to joining Greencastle, Beane enlisted in the Air National Guard Civil Engineers in 1998 before commissioning as an Infantry Officer in the Army National Guard in 2004. Troy retired as a decorated Major in 2019 after 20+ years of service and more than a dozen mobilizations for peace and wartime operations, including Operations Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, and Spartan Shield. Beane earned his Master’s in Leadership Development from Penn State University in 2017 and retired from the Pennsylvania National Guard in 2019.
“In my new role, I look forward to guiding our company to new heights, new regions, and new service offerings.” said Beane. “But most importantly doing all that with a 100% Veteran workforce and setting a new bar for workplace culture, camaraderie, and client service delivery.”

Diamond joined Greencastle in 2015 as a Management Consultant and helped guide one of the nation’s largest utility corporations in a $500M investment to establish a best-in-class business intelligence & data analytics program. From there, Diamond’s focus shifted into creating customized tools, processes, and practices to enable effective financial management for an annual investment portfolio of roughly $600M across roughly 100 projects, the spanned multiple independent operating companies. Core to this effort was integrating and automating complex information flow from disparate information systems into user-friendly, simple reporting, combined with data analytics ability, democratizing the power of “big data” across this client’s workforce.
Prior to joining Greencastle, Diamond co-founded and managed a solar design and installation company after graduating Bucknell University in 2009 with a BS in Business Administration, while simultaneously commissioning as an officer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. After growing the solar company to the third largest in the state by installation size in less than three years, he left to attend flight school. There he became licensed as a FAA commercial helicopter pilot, operating CH-47 Chinook helicopters for the Army.
“My focus is on process improvement and consultant professional development to ensure Greencastle can continue to deliver high value solutions for a growing client base.” said Diamond. “In my new role, I look forward to further enhancing the way we leverage business intelligence to deliver high impact results to our clients.”
Troy and Eric are valued and trusted leaders who have the passion, determination, and dedication to encourage the team and their colleagues to perform above the rest and have made a significant impact on the success of our company and will continue to do so as we head to the future.
