Prior to joining Greencastle as a DoD Skillbridge Fellow, Marcus gained 12 years of combined experience leading small and large-scale projects, managing resources and budgets, and leading expanding teams to serve multiple stakeholders and organizations. As a DoD SkillBridge Candidate at Greencastle, they learn, practice, and maintain core competencies required for Project Management, Change Management, and Process Improvement success. Marcus split his time as an Instructor and Evaluator Airborne Operations Technician on JSTARS and an Instructor and Evaluator Sensor Operator on MQ-9s for the United States Air Force for 12 years. While serving, he deployed four times with Special Operations Command and Air Combat Command, supporting coalition force taskings across the globe. For his military accomplishments, he was awarded numerous awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal by U.S. Central Command, and professionally, he was recognized by The Las Vegas Rotary Club with the Wetzel Award to “honor the hard work and community dedication of young Air Force members stationed in Southern Nevada.” He earned his bachelor’s in project management from Southern New Hampshire University, Air and Space Technology associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force, and Business Admin Associates from Georgia Military College. He is currently exploring options with multiple schools to continue his education with an MBA.
