“To What Remains” Film Screening

On February 10th, Greencastle hosted the team from Project Recover for a screening of their film – “To What Remains”.

It was an honor to host Dr. Pat Scannon, Dr. Derek Abbey, Dr. Mark Moline and Ed Shipley in the Winchester room. “To What Remains” is a stirring, feature-length documentary that follows Project Recover’s search for the more than 80,000 Americans missing in action since World War II.

Project Recover is a collaborative effort to enlist 21st-century science and technology in a quest to find and repatriate World War II MIAs to bring recognition to the service member, closure for their families, and to help a grateful Nation keep its sacred promise to bring our MIAs home. Every American’s Mission – Project Recover’s vision to bring MIAs home is a mission for every American. We are proud and privileged to have so many people joining us who are as passionate about keeping America’s promise as we are. Together we are helping to bring our MIAs home. #KeepingAmericasPromise Artwork: Harry Parker Photography As a result of Project Recover’s missions, there are 84 MIAs awaiting recovery at this time (December 2019). Since 1993, Project Recover (formerly The BentProp Project) has located 30+ downed World War II US aircraft associated with scores of MIA service members. The 5013c non-profit has helped repatriate 13 MIAs as of this writing and located B-24s, B-25s, Corsairs, Helldivers, and TBM Avengers on land and sea in the Pacific and European Theaters. Missions are made possible through generous contributions from The Friedkin Group, The National UDT SEAL Museum, in collaboration with the DPAA, and from people like you.
